GPGPU Programming SS 2011

- Dr.-Ing. Thorsten Thormaehlen
Beschreibung
The lecture GPGPU (General-Purpose Graphics Processing Unit) Programming teaches how to use the vast parallel computing power of today’s GPUs (with several hundreds of computing cores) to solve not only computer graphics related problems, but also more general tasks, including physical simulations, signal processing, image processing, etc. The concept of stream processing is introduced and demonstrated with practical examples using CUDA code.
The lecture will be given in English.
